After completing her BA (Hons) in the Nanyang University of Singapore, Juat Lee pursued a fine art education at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in Singapore in 1987. She has exhibited her works locally and overseas, and held two solo exhibitions in 1998 and 2005. She won many awards, including the Grand Prize in the UOB Painting of the Year Competition in 1997 and 2004, Juror's Choice in Philip Morris ASEAN Art Awards (1997), First Prize in Dr Tan Tsze Chor Art Award (1998). Her works are among the collections of local institutions and private corporations.
