Thang Kiang How

Thang Kiang How 唐近豪 born in 1946, received the Public Service Medal (PBM) awarded by the President of Singapore in 1981 for his contribution to the Singapore nation building. He is an active participant in the local as well as international art scene since 1970. He has held 12 solo exhibitions and more than 100 group exhibitions in countries such as Indonesian, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Taiwan and Vietnam. Kiang How has won many local and international awards. He is constantly involved in major art projects (sculptures and murals). His works are collected by local as well as overseas organisations. He was the former President of the Singapore Modern Art Society (1982-1993).
