Stephen Leong Chun Hong

Stephen Leong Chun Hong 梁振康 graduated with Master Degree in Fine Arts from the RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia. He was awarded the Highly Distinguished Artist Award Medal by the World Artists Association in Hong Kong (2004) and won the merit award in the Asia Invitation Art Exhibition in Seoul (2003) organised by the Korea Culture Art Research Institute and Dr Tan Tsze Chor Chinese Painting Distinction Award organised by the Singapore Art Society. Chun Hong also attained the First prize in Chinese painting in the UOB Painting of the Year competition (1994) and participated in numerous overseas group exhibitions in China, Hong Kong, Japan, Seoul, Spain, Taiwan and Thailand. He participated in local art exhibitions such as the Annual Singapore Miao Hua Chinese Art Exhibition (2002), Singapore-Malaysia Exchange Chinese Art Exhibition in Kuala Lumpur (2002) and Singapore (2003) and the Federation of Art Societies 10th Anniversary Exhibition (2003). He was also the organising Chairman of the 2004 Singapore-Korea Exchange Art Exhibition and is currently the Visual Art Committee Chairperson for the 2006 Chinese Culture Festival Grand Art Exhibition.
