Kang Siong Joo

Kang Siong Joo 康松如 Siong Joo is currently a full-time artist. Apart from painting full-time, he also teaches part-time at Dunman High School and Nan Chiau High School. He did his art training at the Ecole de Beaux Art in France in 1974 and held his first solo art exhibition at the Victoria Memorial Hall in 1978 after returning from his educational stint in Paris. Since 1968, Siong Joo has been participating in numerous art exhibitions both locally and overseas such as China, Hong Kong, France and Taiwan.
