Anthony Chua Say Hua

Anthony Chua Say Hua 蔡世华 A graduate from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in Singapore, Say Hua pursued his BA in Fine Arts at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia, before obtaining his Postgraduate Certificate in Fine Art from the Goldsmiths College, University of London. He has held six solo exhibitions since 1991 and participated in many group exhibitions including China, Jakarta, Japan, Korea, Macau, Singapore, United Kingdom and the United States. He received many awards including the Most Promising Young Artist Award from Philippe Charriol Foundation (1993), First Prize in UOB Painting of the Year Competition (1996/2001), First Prize in Expressions in Art Competition (1997) and Philip Morris Singapore Art Award (1998). He was honoured with “The Young Artist Award” by the National Arts Council of Singapore in 2001 for his outstanding achievements and contributions in visual arts. Currently he is the Chairman of the Telok Kurau Art Studios.
