Choong Chee Pang

Choong Chee Pang 钟志邦 a self-taught artist, is a Biblical scholar and theologian by professional training. He paints in Chinese ink and watercolours, acrylic, oil and mixed media. He participates in major exhibitions in Germany, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan. Collections of his works are found in Singapore and overseas. He has won many prizes such as Tan Tsze Chor Art Award organised by Singapore Art Society (1987), First Prize in (Chinese category) United Overseas Bank Painting of the Year Competition (1987) and Distinction Award for three consecutive years (1988-1990). He is currently a Visiting Professor at Peking and Fudan Universities, China.
